Under the Bodhi Tree invites the community to a free Night Market from 4-8 p.m. this evening at The Shops at Mauna Lani.

The free event will showcase artisan food products, plant-based food vendors, local arts and crafts, live music by WeBV & Friends, and a lucky number drawing with more than $1,500 in prizes.

The second annual Bodhi Tree Night Market features items from independent organic farmers whose products are served in the restaurant, such as HIKombucha, Spicy Ninja Sauce, Aha Honey House and more. Food vendors include Hina Rae’s Cafe, Kona Dogs, Sea Dandelion Cafe, Tropicool Freeze and others.

Attendees can also meet and learn about various services offered from businesses such as Island Holistic Healing, Henna Art by Teshna and Hawaiian Wellness. They will also find works by Dread Pirate Pottery, Soul Sisters shell jewelry, wood by Lewis Koa Co., Soulful Fairy crystal malas, MSW Originals pet art, and others.

Many of the vendors have contributed prizes to the lucky number drawing to benefit the restaurant’s “charity of the month,” Keiki Yoga Kohala. The program offers free yoga classes to more than 350 Kohala Elementary School students. Based on “Yoga Ed,” it combines education science, exercise, health and personal responsibility.
